Supporting Your Practice. Developing Your Confidence.
Good supervision isn’t just a professional requirement — it’s one of the most valuable investments you can make in yourself as a practitioner. I offer clinical supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists at all stages — from those in training to experienced practitioners looking for a supervisor who will genuinely engage with the complexity of their work.
My Approach to Supervision
My supervision style is collaborative and exploratory. Somewhere you can bring the cases that are keeping you up at night, the dynamics you can’t quite name, the moments you’re not sure you handled well.
I draw on my person-centred foundation and psychodynamic principles, and I have significant experience with trauma presentations and dissociation — so if your caseload includes complex trauma, you’ll find I can engage with that work in real depth.
I supervise online and by telephone, meaning wherever you’re based in the UK, we can work together.
Why Supervise With Me?
I bring something to supervision that goes beyond my therapeutic training. From 2019 to 2025 I served as Clinical Manager of a counselling charity, providing oversight of complex clinical presentations and supporting a team of practitioners through some genuinely challenging times — including moving an entire service online during Covid without closing once.
That experience means I understand the pressures you face, the ethical complexities that arise in real-world practice, and what it means to hold a caseload of demanding work whilst looking after yourself professionally and personally.
I am currently completing my formal supervision training — which means my practice is current, closely supervised itself, and informed by the latest thinking in supervision models. Many supervisees find that working with a supervisor in training brings particular energy, rigour and commitment to the relationship.
A Note on Transparency
I believe good supervision models the same honesty and openness I ask of the therapeutic relationship. So I want to be straightforward: I am in training, I am supervised myself, and I bring that learning actively into my work with supervisees. If you’re looking for someone fully qualified, I respect that — and I’m happy to discuss where I am in my training if it helps you to decide.
